UNSOLVED MYSTERIES AROUND THE WORLD

1)
Upsweep is an unidentified sound heard on the equatorial autonomous hydrophone arrays of the United States' National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. When the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory began recording its sound surveillance system, SOSUS, in August 1991, this sound was present.

2)  In an unexplainable and unprovoked mass suicide, more than 50 sheep on their way to slaughter in Turkey beat their executioners to the punch and jumped to their deaths.

3)  In August 1994, a resident of Oakville, Washington, observed translucent, gelatinous blobs carpeting the ground, each approximately half the size of a rice grain. They said that they had showered down during the night and that she and her mother had developed flu-like symptoms as a result of it.

4)   The Crooked Forest is a forest of 400 irregularly shaped pine trees in West Pomerania, Poland, near the town of Gryfino. When it was still part of the German province of Pomerania, the pine trees were planted around 1930.

5)  On October 13, 1917, near Fatima, Portugal, the Sun Miracle occurred. For around 10 minutes, tens of thousands of people watched the sun appear to rotate in the sky, changing colour from blue to yellow and changing size. The believers in Fatima, waiting for a promised miracle, took it as proof of their faith.

6)  The Zodiac letters are a set of four encrypted texts attributed to the notorious Zodiac Killer, a serial killer who tormented residents of the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The letters were most likely created to mock journalists and cops, and while one of the messages has been cracked, the other three, including the cypher at the bottom of this letter, have yet to be cracked.
The Zodiac Killer's identity is also unknown, despite the fact that no Zodiac murders have been identified since 1970.

7)  Kryptos is the name of a bizarre and mysterious-looking sculpture that stands outside the CIA's Langley headquarters. Artist Jim Sanborn created this 12-foot-high cryptographic puzzle, which comprises 1,800 characters arranged in a unique way to generate an encrypted message. Kryptos, which was built over 25 years ago, looks like something out of a Dan Brown novel. Despite the fact that three of the messages have been deciphered, the fourth portion at the bottom (consisting of around 95 characters) is considered one of the most difficult to crack.

8)  In 1888, a serial killer known as Jack the Ripper terrorised London's poor neighbourhoods. This lunatic isn't exaggerating when he says he was your worst criminal from a mystery conundrum come to life.
Many persons, including men and women, were apprehended as suspected Jack the Ripper suspects, but the real culprit was never found.
Because of the method he/she disposed of the victims' bodies - by mutilating or "ripping" them – Jack the Ripper may be at the top of the list for the most horrible yet unresolved mysteries in history.

9)  The strange black substance known as La Mancha Negra (The Black Stain) has been oozing from roads in Caracas, Venezuela, since 1986. La Mancha Negra has been responsible for numerous car accidents and the deaths of numerous people since its release. Despite nearly two decades of research and millions of dollars spent, determining the cause of the material has proven challenging, and there are still no definite explanations.

10)  In Forest Grove, Oregon, a high-pitched noise was reported late one night in February 2016. The sound was not caused by the Department of Forestry's equipment, according to the department. A Forest Grove homeowner first informed Dave Nemeyer about the noise by posting a video of it on the city's Facebook page.
